Dynamoelectric power supply

Besides the traditional operations of maintenance and overhaul of the instruments for LPG, Bilanciai Porro offers the possibility of upgrading your filling plant at modest costs (as these projects don't entail any complicated construction or piping work), changing your mechanical system to a modern electronic one.

Dynamoelectric power supply

Dynamoelectric power supply allows to electrify the backbone of an existing carousel, replacing the mechanical filling stations with new electronic filling stations.

This power supply allows, on the one hand to securely feed the electronic filling scales, and on the other to ensure distribution of air and LPG while maintaining the original plant.

The set is designed to be integrated into existing structures with power supplies:

  • LPG from above
  • Compressed air from above
  • electricity from above


The set comprises:

  • an intrinsically safe power supply kit (10x12V to power) to be installed on the ground at the side of the existing carousel
  • a rotating electrical collector, specifically designed by SIRAGA for this application, to be included in the central part of the existing LPG feeding tube (complete with 3" flanges implemented locally by your qualified welder)
  • set of electrical connections able to feed the single filling stations from electrical distribution network to link each filling stairs to the electrical slip ring
  • set of electrical connections to wire the rotating electrical collector to the fixed part installed on the ground.
Gas weighing operations

Functioning

The electrical transformer is coaxial with respect to the backbone: the transmission of current between the fixed part and the mobile part is ensured by a magnetic field that is created between two elements of the rotary transformer (in practice, there is no contact or sliding, which means little to no wear over time).

Air and LPG are supplied through two rings attached to the center column joined by streams from above (LPG and compressed air).

 

Risparmio

Electronic filling systems guarantee filling accuracies in the order of 25 g compared to a mechanical system whose precision is never below 200 g. All this means immediate savings resulting from the exchange of technology that incredibly shortens the timing of the break-even point.

 

Safety

All electrical materials used are subject to certification by recognized organizations and are therefore compatible for use in hazardous areas.
